Hi,
I am one of the new developers here at zaadz and needless to say it is a dream come true.
I am one of the new developers here at zaadz and needless to say it is a dream come true.
Here are some of my initial views about zaadz' potencial and why I am super excited about being part of it.
...
Many people say they want to change the world, but I have seen few with a plan of how to do it. - usually it comes down to relying on outside forces to change the world for them. The zaadz business plan and vision convinced me that zaadz can infact make a huge difference to the world.
The difference that I read between the lines of everything I read at zaadz is a clear message of responsibility.
What makes this community great is that there is no other secular meeting place of people who have in common to better themselves.
There is no prejudice against creed or philosophy, but there is an open platform for anyone to say what they need to and to learn from each other, debate with each other and be themselves.
This gets me excited because this fills a need that millions of people have, in a responsible way.
Zaadz doesn't promise some sort of pesonal fix, but it brings together people in a safe, constructive social environment.
I think zaadz has potencial to grow as projected in the business plan. - when it does, and it opens resorts and spas across the world, then zaadz will influence even a lot more people than we can begin to realize now.
The impact on communities around the world - in the sense of job creation, infrastructure, health awareness, social refuge - can be astronomical. -this is not even considdering the obvious bennefits to zaadz users/members/zaadzsters, this is just the indirect positive changes to peoples lives.
So in short why I am excited about zaadz - it will change the world.
it will give a platform to the enlightened
it will give refuge to the lonely
it will promote responsible decision making
it will create and circulate wealth
I can't wait to get my hands dirty being involved in this whole process - I'm perhaps not the most charismatic or wize guru,
but I can create web applications and would love few things more than to contribute beautiful code and ideas to the creation of the platform that will change the world into a better place- even if it is only for a few billion people.
I've been lucky to grow up in South Africa. I've seen the world change around me.
Not only in the obvious ways of freedom and democracy, and not that much in wealth creation,
but I am a firsthand witness to how millions of people's mindsets can change to improve their quality of life and sustainable wholeness.
I know the world can be a better place, and I know if it depends on politicians and traditional big business it will take forever.
We can make it happen.

Can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to have your passion and brilliance on our team, bud!!
Let’s do it.

thanks man!
you won’t be disappointed
Congrats francois! I can’t wait to see what you guys create and how people will use it!
thanks, futuremint, but in the end it won’t be the cool features we create that change the world - it will be the people like you - using this platform to communicate sustainable wholeness.
franc this is your dream job and mine both. One the coolest parts is the team, and I am honored to have you as a part of it. And your wisdom comes through my friend, with you energy and compassion.
Engage !
kind word Ryan. thanks.
are you sure were getting paid for this? - seems totally unreal - i think i’ll have to refer to this as my occupation - or occu’passion’ - i think job has some negative connotations that i somehow struggle to associate with zaadz. :)
anyhoooo,
zaadz on!
occupassion - nice! My friend Steve calls it ‘plerk’. I don’t thing of this as a ‘job’ either - as I said in my opening blog post.
OccuPASSION…. Doing what you love; loving what you do!!!! I like the new word…. gonna use it!! … it will make people think, it will!
mscaprikell: check out this article by Paul Graham - i think it ties in quite well.

Very cool article! It really is quite simply complicated! Like right now; I love numbers - I work in accounting… I can’t say I “love” every moment of it… but, when I make a presentation pop with data, or produce some concise financials… I *feel* it! {geeky} …. BUT, now I want to evolve with my work and incorporate with things for which I feel passionately. For example, my photography, creative writing, performing arts, AND this burning desire to further my interest in Spiritual Counceling…. complicated? Yes. Impossible…. No. Baby steps to get there…. and enjoy the journey while I am at it!
Well put :franc.
I really like your thoughts on zaadz!
Pretty exciting huh?
Look forward to working together.
